| Using the provided test solution, make a wet spot on the concrete about "quarter or half-dollar sized". While standards typically say make a "puddle", the point is to simply make the area damp enough to make the pH paper wet. (see top left). Usually the pH is quick to react, but let the area stay damp for about a minute before testing to make sure. Once the paper is wet, compare the color to the chart enclosed and write down the pH for that location. |
