After the test kit has remained undisturbed for 60 to 72 hours, cut a "horseshoe" into the dome to create an easy access to the dish. Do not spill the contents of the dish. Immediately replace the lid and use the blue tape (pictured here, properly adhered to the side of the dome) to reseal the dish. In most cases, there isn't much visual difference in the calcium chloride, yet in severe conditions the dish can be full of liquid!   Plan to re-weigh the dish shortly.
